Product launch to meet
proposed water quality standards for the cleaning
of Endoscopes

| This
month sees the launch of a the EndoTherm a heated
RO system to meet HTM2030, EN ISO 15883, C32 and the
proposed water quality standards as stated in HTM
0101 Part B. Designed to work in conjunction with
the already proven EndoPure the EndoTherm unit is
manufactured in the UK from 316L stainless steel and
is a hot sanitisable module used to feed Endoscope
reprocessors with a specific quality of water.

HTM01 (HTM2030) presented
at the British Dental Trade Association Showcase

at the BDTA Dental Showcase 2007 our healthcare specialist
Becky Lacey explained to exhibition attendees how
their Dental Practices may need to evaluate and update
their decontamination procedures because of the extension
of the HTM 2030
/10/31 standards.
HTM
2030 (soon to be superseded by HTM01)
was published 10 years ago along with HTM2010 and
HTM2031 to establish a standard for safe and effective
surgical instrument decontamination. HTM2010 and HTM
2031 address sterilisation procedures
and the use of sterilisers.

launched in October at the British Dental Trading
Association exhibition. The Min E Pure – designed
specifically for feeding single and multiple instrument
washer disinfectors predominantly in Primary Healthcare
Trusts is manufactured by EWS (UK) Ltd at its facility
in Cheddar, Somerset
